Sounds like the lead line in a song, but rather it is the truth. As the rain falls down I sit here and think about the past month. I had the privilege to meet some truly awesome and fascinating people through camp. While some aren't exactly on the same page as me, or my age, I absolutely loved hanging out with them and getting to know them. I will miss them all as they head back to their normal lives in places far from my own.
My family was here for the past few days and I loved being able to spend time with them, but most of all I love how well they know me. It's wonderful to have people who almost anticipate what you are going to say and what you are thinking. I love them dearly!
As the rain falls down and the earth gulps this much needed drink, I will sit here and ponder these last few weeks and be as truly grateful for them as the earth is for the rain.
